Nava and Aquia-Nava joint venture win prime awards on USDA DISC STRATUS Cloud BOA

The 10-year BOA sources vendors with deep expertise in cloud integration and development.

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve won an unrestricted prime award on the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Digital Infrastructure Services Center (DISC) STRATUS Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). In addition, Aquia Nava II LLC—a joint venture between Aquia and Nava—has won a joint-venture award. This ten-year BOA will enable us to vie for mission-aligned work supporting human-centered modernization at USDA and at their partner agencies.

The STRATUS program establishes pools of qualified vendors, enabling USDA to quickly tap cloud service providers and professional services firms that can support infrastructure and software efforts. Nava is part of a pool focused on providing cloud expertise and managed services including development, integration, management, and operational support.

“We’re honored that USDA selected us to help work toward their vision of delivering human-centered digital services for USDA and their partner agencies,” said Nava CEO Rohan Bhobe. “This BOA is especially exciting because it represents our joint venture’s first major win and underscores what mission-oriented organizations can achieve when they combine their expertise.”

Nava is not new to supporting government agencies with human-centered cloud adoption. Previously, we helped the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) move from costly data centers to the cloud. We also supported hundreds of developer teams to provide critical cloud infrastructure for CMS, and we built systems that have helped millions of people enroll in Medicare and processed billions of Medicare claims.

Aquia Nava II LLC unites two organizations with deep experience driving positive change through human-centered digital solutions. We’ll leverage our combined expertise to deliver even better digital services and outcomes that foment trust in public institutions.
