Nava is thrilled to announce we’ve won a one-year, $4.5 million subcontract with prime contractor Oddball, Inc. to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) on improving tools for accredited representatives, or those who help connect Veterans and their families with benefits. We’ll support research, human-centered design, development, and implementation for a suite of programs that will service accredited representatives, including during the accreditation and renewal process.
As a public benefit corporation, Nava is working to make government services simple, effective, and accessible to all. We are honored to support OCTO’s mission to provide accredited representatives with best-in-class user experiences and tools.
“Modernizing the tools that accredited representatives use daily will ultimately make benefits more accessible to more Veterans,” said Alex Santantonio, Nava’s Federal Civilian Portfolio Director. “We’re excited to continue our long-standing work with VA in this new capacity.”
VA has trusted Nava to work on highly scrutinized projects for nearly 10 years. In the past, we helped build technology that enabled VA staff to make appeals decisions more quickly, we supported VA in redesigning va.gov, and we helped connect Veterans to disability benefits during the pandemic.
