We’re excited to announce the Focus-Nava Joint Venture has won a prime award to provide strategic advisory support to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Chief Information Officer’s (CIO) office. Through this $1.7 million award, we’ll offer strategic advisory expertise, mature technical advisory practices, and tailored solutions that align with the IRS’s goals and vision of modern, customer-based IT operations.
Nava is a public benefit corporation working to make government services simple, effective, and accessible to all. We’re eager to help the IRS CIO office optimize its IT operations, ultimately promoting equity and reducing burdens for American taxpayers.
“We’re honored that the IRS selected Focus Nava to help with such a vital modernization effort,” said Alex Santantonio, Nava’s Federal Civilian Program Director. “Through agile development and human-centered design practices, we’ll ensure that the IRS can respond to its constituents’ changing needs.”
Our joint venture unites two organizations with deep experience in driving strategic modernization. Together, we’ll focus on the long-term execution of enterprise-wide strategies, the deconstruction of current infrastructure and technology processes, and the analysis of the teams supporting these technologies from an enterprise perspective.
“Focus is thrilled to partner with Nava on this critical work helping the IRS become more resilient,” said Focus CEO Ant Addis. “Our organizations bring different skill sets to the table. Together, we’ll be able to help the IRS meet new demands in efficiency, accuracy, and security as well as new opportunities presented by the growth of digital technologies.”
