Hannah Kane joins Nava as new Chief of Staff

A seasoned civic tech professional, Kane will drive strategic company-wide initiatives.

Nava is thrilled to announce Hannah Kane has joined as our new Chief of Staff! Formerly the Vice President of Delivery at Truss and the Director of Account Management at the General Service Administration’s 18F, Kane will support change management and drive company-wide initiatives as a key partner to our Executive Team.

“As Nava continues to grow and take on work with new agencies, Hannah’s deep background in delivery and operations will enable us scale our efforts and build on our mission of making government services simple, effective, and accessible while remaining a great place to work,” said Nava COO and co-founder Sha Hwang. “We’re excited to learn from Hannah’s experience in service delivery, business development, and ultimately her commitment to service against critical efforts.”

Kane comes to us with deep experience in the civic tech space. At Truss, Kane led change management efforts, built the company’s internal communications program, and forged strategic alignment across Truss’ multidisciplinary teams. At 18F, Kane oversaw the Account Management and Business Development departments. There, she designed and implemented project health and customer satisfaction programs and created new service offerings. Kane also led the External Buy team, during which 18F embarked on its first assisted acquisitions for federal partners.
